Collina Kids is making every effort to ensure that your child remains healthy and hand washing is a critical component in reducing the spread of illnesses. We ask that parents assist their child with hand washing when arriving at the center for drop off. It’s a great way to establish a routine with your child during drop off time.
Hand washing occurs frequently throughout the day to include but not limited to; drop off time, before and after meals, after potting, before and after art activities as well as after going outdoors.
The CDC recently released a study exemplifying the fact that there is a coororlation between good hygiene and scoring higher in their cognitive development. This is mainly due to the fact that healthier children are in school more and are able to pay better attention and remain on task
